Foodbank Warehouse Manager

Did you know that food poverty locally is on the increase and Woking Foodbank has provided food for over 2000 people during the first six months of this year alone?

Due to the increase in donations in the last year, coupled with the rise in usage, Woking Foodbank is restructuring how it operates.  We will be creating a central warehouse to support our distribution centres in Woking town centre, Sheerwater, Sythwood and Byfleet.

To help implement the changes we want to make and then manage the new warehouse operation, we have created the role of Foodbank Warehouse Manager.

The overall purpose of the role is to manage the day to day running of the warehouse, along with the collection, storage, and distribution of food in and out of our new warehouse facility.

Our warehouse manager will also monitor our food stock levels, liaising with local businesses, churches and supermarkets to ensure we have an adequate supply of food.

This role will suit somebody keen to be in at the beginning of this new phase of our project. Someone organised, who enjoys planning, working with others and helping people in need.
