Support Ukraine

We are committed as a church family to join together with others to love and help those that are suffering as a result of the war in Ukraine.

Please find below many different ways you can help.

Local Hubs

The Ukraine Hub Woking is at the Lighthouse, and is open on Monday and Wednesday from 10.30am-12.30pm.

The Ukraine Hub Guildford is at the Open Grounds Cafe at Millmead every Friday from 10am-12pm.

Both have been set up in collaboration with local churches and organisations.

If you have Ukrainians staying with you, or are a host, please do pop along.

If you would like to volunteer at either hub please email [email protected]

Financial Giving

Donate here to help those being affected by the crisis in Ukraine. We will donate funds raised to charities working in the region, for example Justice in Care, who is working to prevent the dramatic increase in trafficking within Ukraine and Innovista, who is directly supporting Ukrainian pastors and churches. We may also use funds helping local charities working with Ukrainians coming to the UK.

Practical Giving

If you would like to donate items to be taken to Ukrainian refugees please find information about local drop off points below. Drop off points and requirements change frequently so do check before going along.

Check out the latest items being collected in the Guildford area here: https://gukraine.org/items/

Becoming a Host

We would encourage anyone who wants to become a host for a Ukrainian refugee to register on the “Homes for Ukraine” Government scheme here.

Emmaus Rd would love to know if you are considering becoming a host or you have Ukrainian families looking for hosts, so we can signpost you to areas of support.

Please let us know if you are registering to become a host, have Ukrainian families in need of hosting just complete the form here.

Prayer

24/7 have some excellent resources to help us all pray for Ukraine. They have a virtual prayer room, prayer guides and much more. Check it out here.
